Building a Zeta 2 Single Board Computer

In this video, I depart from the RC2014 and decide to build something a little different, the Zeta 2 Single Board Computer by Sergey Kiselev. On one pc board, it features a parallel port, floppy controller, 512K of Flash and RAM, CTC chip, real time clock, and serial IO. CP/M is programmed into the Flash and bootable without needing any external storage media. I try this single board computer out in a variety of ways and interface some nixie tubes to it.

A few useful links:
* Sergey’s page is at http://www.malinov.com/Home/sergeys-projects/zeta-sbc-v2
* To order boards, visit https://www.retrobrewcomputers.org/doku.php?id=boardinventory. I purchased my boards from Todd.
* The Flash image is called “RomWBW”. I downloaded the source from github, and then built the image using a Windows PC. I programmed the image to the Flash chip using a “Minipro” EPROM programmer that came from an eBay seller.
