Drivers agree – automated transmissions are better. We’ve tested versions of automatic and automated manual transmissions for over 10 years. Early versions broke down often. Today’s versions have proven reliable after more than 450 million miles of testing and use.

More importantly, even veteran drivers familiar with manuals love the new automateds. Over 50% of our fleet is now automated, and all tractors we purchase moving forward will be automated — we now even offer driving jobs for drivers with an auto-only restriction on their CDL.
