Introduction to Fitness: Steps on How to Start Your Fitness Journey (How to get Fit)

Join us on our journey to being fit, not only for summer 2014, but for life! Find out what my short term goals are and let me know about yours and how you plan to achieve those goals. What kind of exercise do you do to stay in shape!?

My SMART goal as of today:
Gain 1 cm of muscle in 2 weeks around my glutes and thighs. I will achieve this goal by eating 5 healthy meals at least 6 days a week (1 cheat day) and doing heavy resistance
training at least 4x a week.

What are your SMART goals?

What may be attainable for me, may not be attainable for someone else. Because I know that I can maintain a healthy diet, it is realistic for me to say that I can eat healthy at the least 5 days a week, however for someone that has never attempted even eating healthy, that goal may be really difficult. Remember to set goals that are SMART for you!

How to accurately measure your body: Make sure you are not flexing and sucking in any body parts when doing this. You must be in a completely relaxed state.
