How to Clean Lodge Heat-Treated Cast Iron

Our American-made, heat-treated line of cast iron is now rust-resistant! Here’s how we recommend caring for your heat-treated and seasoned cast iron cookware.

1. Start with a dirty pan.
2. Wash in the sink, or head straight to the dishwasher for stick situations.
3. Use soap if you like, and a scraper if necessary.
4. Dry your skillet.
5. Apply the oil of your choice; seasoning works best with a warm pan.
6. Lodge Heat-Treated Cast Iron is rust resistant and worry free!
