These include code completion, excellent HTML markup completion and some going through settings to make sure we have tabs not spaces in our files (or vice-versa). Aptana provides context-sensitive code completion for HTML, JavaScript, CSS and even PHP, although we’re not going to be using Aptana for PHP coding. Aptana is way too weak for this and PHPEclipse takes the prime on this field.
Much of the information in this video still holds true today, however many of the PHP and HTML features are now obsolete and wouldn’t work correctly. Aptana is no longer developed as a community project either, so unfortunatelly support for some cool new features is non-existent there as well.
You can still download Aptana from its official website and work on your JavaScript applications, should you decide to give this plugin a try.
