How to fish on a charter boat – Fishing for Skipjack Tuna
Rodney Marquez of BD outdoors had the experience of what it’s like to be in the Captain’s Wheel-house. Captain of the Tomahawk sport fishing, tells Rodney, that chumming is a very important tactic to getting schools of fish to the boat. Deckhands strategically chums the water, creating a make shift bait ball, that draws fish from the depth to the surface. Fishing on the right side of the boat, communication, listening to your crew members, as well as fishing appropriate gear, all helps to landing your tuna on board.
