So today I’m making my own homemade sports drink! If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been teaching outdoors for the past few months (in light of the pandemic). So in Atlanta that means 100 degrees Fahrenheit (or 35 Celsius) – SUPER HOT! Needless to say, we are constantly sweating. So it’s important to properly hydrate and replenish all lost minerals. Here is the recipe that I absolutely love! It gives me plenty of energy, satisfies my thirst and super refreshing!
Homemade Sports Drink (Isotonic Drink) Recipe:
1 cup of fresh juice (either freshly squeezed or your favorite natural from the store)
2-3 cups of water
Pinch of salt
