How to Protect Against COVID-19 in Ubers or Lyfts

If you use Uber, Lyft, or any other ride share service, here are tips on how to minimize your exposure to COVID-19. NYU Public Health Professor Jack Caravanos has created a safety program for the 80,000 members of the Independent Drivers Guild. He says that some red flags to look out for when getting in a car include the driver not wearing a mask, and not having any hand sanitizer to offer you. Once inside, he recommends rolling down the windows to get air moving through the car.
