Solo Travel Girl’s Experience with Motorbikes in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, April 2016

In order to be independent during my trip to Ho Chi Minh City, I had to find the courage to cross the street in what is called the “Saigon Shuffle.” It’s basically walking slowly and steadily across the street while watching the motorbike drivers.

Why the Saigon Shuffle? Because very rarely do they stop. Of course, cars, trucks and buses don’t stop so get out of their way!

Also had a chance to ride the back of a motorbike during a tour with Saigon Street Eats. http://saigonstreeteats.com/
