Don’t Split the Party! We’ve all heard this before in Dungeons & Dragons. It’s a mantra that D&D players chant to each other when someone is about to go off and do something stupid by themselves. Don’t split the party is something Dungeon Masters often caution their players about, too. But why all the bother about not splitting the party? What’s so wrong with splitting the party in D&D or RPGs in general? In this video I discuss reasons NOT to split the party and how a Dungeon Master can encourage the group to stay together and not split up.
