and focused on fitness goals:
– Get Real – Set realistic goals and write them down. Set a time table to accomplish them, for example “I will go to the gym 3 times a week to do exercise, say 15-30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise”.
– Get Happy – Choose a workout you enjoy. There are so many ways to exercise. The more enjoyable we do the exercise, the more likely will be able to stick with it.
– Get Reward – The best way to sustain motivation is getting a reward. Say pamper yourself
in a spa or massage or treat yourself to your favourite restaurant once a month, every time you finished your target workout each month.
– Get Social – Meet up with a friend or neighbour to exercise. Having a fitness buddy makes exercise more fun and encourages you more to do exercise together.
– Get Healthy – Try to eat small meals in a day and don’t deprive yourself eat your favourite meal once in a while. Indulge in a well balanced meals – Protein, Minerals, Carbohydrates, Vitamins. Also, Hydrate and drink enough water.
– Get Variety of Exercises – There are so many kinds of exercises like strength training, cardiovascular, balance, and flexibility exercises that you can incorporate into your workout.
– Get Rest and Proper Sleep – Must rest and get enough sleep. You have to allow your
muscles to rest and rebuild.
– Be Contented – Acceptance of what you can do and be happy with the fitness results that your doing. Try not to compare yourself to other people.
