How To Friend and Connect With People On Facebook
Today we will talk about how to friend and connect with people on Facebook.I like when my list communicates with me and asks questions it makes my day a little easier. So today I received a question from one of my subscribers and they asked “I don’t know how to connect on Facebook”. I know that most of you know how to do this but maybe you will learn something you didn’t know.
I will write this out for those that don’t want to watch the video or a can get the video for some reason.
First off you have to have a Facebook account. They are free so do this first. If you are promoting a business this is essential.
If someone gives you their profile url like I do “https://www.facebook.com/glenn.byers.7” in the header you can hit the friend button and that will sent that person a friend request. If you are looking for your friends like maybe for high school or were you used to live years ago you can do a search. At the top there is a search bar put their name in and hit search.
You should do this with your email list here’s why they are already have the same interest as you do.
My interest when I started was about parrots and I have a lot of friends that own parrots and I have a business I have friends that like what I post about business.
You can also add friends by importing your contacts. I myself don’t like to do this I would rather put them in one by one. Remember that Facebook is a social site and if you treat people like you would your best friend you will be alright.
How To Connect With People You Don’t No
This is done differently if you are say promoting and you don’t know the person or you are looking for people with the same interest then here’s what to do. Don’t just start friending people because for 1 Facebook don’t like that. The people you are friending may turn you in to Facebook. You used to be able to do that but the safest way is to message that person and connect with them and let them choose to be friends with you. Just say “Hey Glenn saw you have the same interest as I do and wanted to connect with you.” Most of the time they will connect with you and you can build a relationship with them and enjoy their post.
You can go to groups with the same interests to and connect by clicking on their picture that will send you to their profile and you can connect with them.

How do I add a friend?
You can add friends by importing your contacts. You can also add friends from their profiles:
Type your friend’s name or email in the search bar at the top of any Facebook page.
Select their name to go to their profile.
Click the Add Friend You might not see this button on some people’s profiles, depending on their privacy settings.
Once this person accepts your request, they’ll show up in your Facebook friends list.
