Over the next few months, advice columnist Deborrah Cooper will present interviews with women discussing the painful drama they have experienced at the hands of men they loved. The goal for this series will be to share the insight these women gained about themselves, including why they believe they made the choices they did, what they lost in these relationships, the red flags they naively missed because of youth and inexperience, or blatantly ignored because “I love him though”. Each interviewee will also provide her insight into what YOU should watch out for to protect yourself in the future.
We want to show women who have experienced these types of painful relationships that they are not alone in their confusion, and that the warning signs one sees in hindsight can be used to safely navigate yourself away from those types of men and those types of relationships in the future.
