How do we give chemo to our dog and cat patients?

People are surprised to hear chemo is given without sedation and without much restraint. It IS given very carefully with lots of safety precautions and protective gear for the team administrating the chemo. Here Twinkie is getting vinblastine for her metastatic MCT. Some chemo treatments are give more slowly or with fluids but this is called a bolus- given quickly, flush and done! She did great though she’s not a fan of our treats!
