One thing I forgot to mention are smaller liberal arts colleges. You can land a teaching heavy tenure track position at these colleges and the research requirements are less stringent than big colleges. The things I talk about in this video apply more to big colleges that have PhD programs (often the liberal arts colleges do not). There’s also the option to teach at a community college on tenure track, with no research requirements, but from what I’ve heard you are worked like a dog!
