How to “de-beep” your electronic appliances (example – HomeLabs dehumidifier)

The default beeping on my Home Labs Dehumidifier was destroying my zen and waking me up at night… and there was no programmatic way to disable it.

This video shows how I found the circuit board in my appliance and removed the sound buzzer and metal plate with just a screwdriver and pliers. *Please unplug device before taking it apart*

Trust me – you will get an incredible sense of satisfaction from destroying the beep. #BanBeeps and achieve a state of zen.
