It’s a government-operated, 13-hectare park with stunning views of Taal Lake and Volcano. The park offers many activities for families with kids. Some of the highlights include zipline over a ravine (P200 to P400/head), walking through a 400-meter ecotrail, and close encounters with animals at the adventure jungle. Other activities include visiting the butterfly garden (P50/head), feeding furry animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs (P50/head), and horseback riding (P350/hour). The park also has a Filipino restaurant serving grilled cuisines and Tagaytay’s specialty, bulalo.
HOW TO GET THERE:
Picnic Grove is located along the Tagaytay-Calamba Road, approximately 10 minutes away from Olivarez Plaza, Emilio Aguinaldo Highway.
By car: From Olivarez Plaza, head south towards the Tagaytay Rotonda and merge into the Tagaytay-Calamba Road. Follow along the stretch of the road. Along the way, Discovery Country Suites Tagaytay, Tagaytay South Ridge Estates and the Development Academy of the Philippines. Picnic Grove is on the right side of the road.
