If you are new to cycling, I can imagine that you are enjoying getting out and about in the fresh air and feeling good about getting some exercise. Stick with cycling for any length of time, though, and sooner or later you will probably start to look for a challenge.
One such cycling challenge that new cyclists undertake is to do their first 50 km bike ride. 50kms (or 31 miles) may sound intimidating right now but, believe me that it is more that possible for pretty much anyone to be able to ride this distance with the right training.
