National Hereditary Cancer Awareness week is September 25th to October 1st.
This week brings awareness to genetic testing and screening options available to those who may or may not know they are high risk. It is the precursor to Breast Cancer Awareness month.
We’ll be joined by Jennifer and Carolyn Gibbons to talk about this important subject as well as ways that we, as makers, can help keep things light and bright while bringing awareness to such a heavy subject.
If you are a hereditary cancer survivor, previvor, caregiver, or family member, this week is about honoring you and sharing information to help others who may be at an increased risk.
